If you're searching for a salt spreader, BBI does have the equipment you need. Spreading salt requires the same type of equipment as granular fertilizers and lime. Any of our fertilizer or lime spreaders will effectively function as a salt spreader. If your application requires continual salt spreading, we recommend choosing a model that is constructed of stainless steel to protect against corrosion, thereby lengthening the life of the equipment.As with all spreaders, it will be important to maintain an inventory of replacement parts due to the corrosive nature of salt.
